Blessings of pouring rain, Green Day

Ahh so much stuff is going on! I loved hearing about Camilles and Jeremys choir things I hope that will go well in the future. I pray for the family every night. God is  there!

Okay so this week was crazy I dont have much time.  It was all from a mission fast we did!

The first miracle was another result of the fast. A man who  was baptized a little under a year ago into the church, but soon after worked in France and stopped going to church. (Gabrielle) But he felt really bad about his life and started reading the Book of Mormon and praying in January. So, we called him last week to try to contact him (We have never successfully contacted him before) and he picked up, turns out his girlfriend of two years dumped him that day, and he was feeling really bad about his life and wanted to change. And thats when we called him. So we set up an appointment with him, he has a strong testimony of the Gospel but needs help to keep all the commandments. We were really happy about that.

Another miracle was we were inspired to call a young Peruvian member, Carla, to go to our lesson with an older Italian lady, Anna, and it was perfect. Carla was able to bear her testimony in such a way to Anna in that she was able to feel the spirit really strongly. At the end of the lesson, Anna said, wow Carla you should be a missionary!

The next miracle we had was with an investigator named Saverio. He has been an investigator for three years, but we have started to work with him. We had an appointment with him and it was pouring rain. We had two options. Go to the lesson and get soaked, or stay home and cancel. Of course we chose to bike through the rain to the appointment.

So we did this and when we got to his house we were dripping water. He gave us some new socks and was really worried about us and then we shared our message. He was really struck by the obedience that Nephi and Lehi showed, and also by how much love we had for him to come to him through the rain. He said his sister called him to go be with her and some other people (and normally he would cancel our appointment and go with her,) but that day he told us that he knew he needed to be with us to learn about the Gospel. At the end of the lesson, we could tell that his heart changed. He told us he really wants to come to church, and he will come this week! He usually doesnt, and I hope he does, but I know we saw his faith increase that day. God had it rain that hard for us!

Green Day

The last 2 smaller miracles, first is that we were able to go to a members house who used to be active, but doesn't go to church and we become friends with him, he really loved us because our names make, Green Day. Haha. He came to church last week and is starting to come back so we were happy to help him come back to church. He went and bought us fresh milk from the dairy after it was awesome!

The last best miracle is our ward! We had ward council yesterday and everyone saw our progress record and became super excited to do missionary work. Everyone wanted to volunteer and help us and go to less active and investigator appointments and go do missionary work in general! Our branch is behind us! Thats the best miracle of all.

The church is true!
