Ryan's plane trip was 15 hours long with layovers in Chicago and London. He traveled with 7 others going to Milan. Ten more trained in his group that went to the Rome mission. Ryan arrived safely and on time today and was greeted my
his Mission President, President Wolfgramm who has been the mission president there
for two years.

There are now eight stakes in Italy.
He met Ryan and then had
several missionaries escort Ryan and the other 7 new missionaries assigned to
Milan, Italy Mission to downtown Milan to do a little bit of sight seeing- to
visit the Duomo (the Cathedral) and other sites in downtown Milan. He then will have dinner with the mission
president, stay in a local hotel, then go to his assigned area tomorrow.
He is assigned to a town one and a half hours south of
Milan, Reggio Emellia and his companion Elder Fiorentino , who is from Florida
and has been out over a year. His
companion will train his new missionary or
a “greenie”. (Ryan) .

Just a few more photos of the city of Reggio Emillia, Ryan's first area.
Reggio Emillia is between Parma and Modena and two hours south of Milan (by train) and one hour 45 minutes north of Florence.
His companion is a convert from Florida and a college
graduate and a karate black belt who, according to his mission president is out
for the right reason, humble, sharp and one of his best.

I am so excited for him.
