Park Adventures

A great miracle happened on scampi (Exchanging companions) with Anziano Smith that was awesome.

We were waiting in the park for an investigator named Al , who was running a little late. So we sat on the bench to wait for him in the shade, and we see an investigator, Pietro who we are seeing for the second time next week and start talking to him.

Then, a woman who rejected us because she was running as we contacted people
in the park before came and starting talking to us too! She answered our question we had initially asked about Jesus Christ and we talked about the message of Jesus Christ and introduced the Book of Mormon to her. She wanted a copy, and asked us to write our number in it so she could call us when she started reading it.

As we talk together, Pietro leaves and another African man comes and starts talking to Anziano Smith. Anziano Smith thinks that the man is Al, (because he has never seen him before) and so he sits him down and we teach him the same lesson that we were going to teach Al, with the invite of coming to church. He accepted our invite, and we exchanged numbers for the next week.
Teaching Al with the ping pong ball and the rice.

Then Al came and we taught him the same lesson, and he also accepted coming to church. It was a really awesome experience to see how many people are ready to learn and receive this message of the restored gospel.

It was a good testimony to me that we were in the right place and the right time and were doing the right things, and so the Lord blessed us.

Here is Al  with putting God first lesson (Object lesson- you have a ping pong
ball and rice, if you put the little things, the rice in first before the ping pong ball God the ball doesn't fit, but if you put God first, the ping pong ball, then all the rice fills in the spaces and it fits in perfectly.)

 Mosiah 2:22

22 And behold, all that he requires of you is to keep his commandments; and he has promised you that if ye would keep his commandments ye should prosper in the land; and he never doth vary from that which he hath said; therefore, if ye do keep his commandments he doth bless you and prosper you.

I will email you all a bit later love you all!
