Sacrament talk, American Football movie party, POW,

I just wanted to let you know everything is going well this week. 

I gave a talk last Sunday in Sacrament meeting about Sacrifice, and how the Lord asks us to sacrifice things so that we can build the faith necessary to be saved. The members liked it, and they also remembered you and asked me how you were doing. I told them that you are moving really slow like an old person but that you are doing well. They were really happy. 

I am supposed to be transferred next week, we will see what happens. Transfer calls are on Monday. Hopefully this pray we are going to be playing soccer (even though it is raining, Italians think we are insane) and then we are going to Torre Pellice (a mountain peak) next week to visit the Lorenzo Snow spot (the first Mormon missionary in Italy who dedicated the land of Italy from that site). 

Anziano Torgerson, the Canadian in the apartment, is really excited and he is going home the next week as well. I can only imagine how he feels right now.

 Our investigator with a baptismal date for April 4th, Daniele, got back from Malta this last week, and he is really excited to follow through and to be baptized. He has a big heart and he loves to serve, we are excited to help him make it these last couple steps. 

We also had a great activity this week where we watched "Facing the Giants" (an American Christian Football movie with a gratitude theme) in the Torino 1 ward church, we only got to watch the first 30 minutes (with permission of president of course) because it was late, but there were so many people that came! Many people brought their friends to the activity and lots of food of course, it turned out really well in the end.

Our 90 year old investigator who was a POW during world war two came. His name is Renato and he is a spry old man. He even made us lunch one time. He is super fit for his age and is still bright. He is making progress in the gospel, it's a really amazing thing to witness.

We also went to Vercelli this week for a scampi,(companion exchange) and I got to stay in Vercelli. It was a good experience, we taught a family home evening with a family who invited many friends, and then ate some delicious peruvian food after. (The wife is peruvian and the husband is Napolitano.)

We also had a lot of fun going around and talking to everyone in our path, the church in Vercelli is really well known and so a majority of the people knew us (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) when we stopped to talk with them. 

Its always fun to talk to everyone, 

some people believe in the Catholic church and go every week, 

others don't believe in god, 

others not sure, 

some Buddhists 

and spiritualists thrown in the mix, 

you just never know what you can find....Surprises.
